How to make money with Google maps using qr for reviews

A series of step-by-step instructions for implementing this project
STEP 1: CREATE FREE QR CODES
Free qr codes, in these instructions, should be understood to mean a qr code that can be attached to a link to any business in Google maps in the future
You can use any service that allows you to create qr codes and link these qr codes to links in the future. One such service is maps.menu
This is a free platform focused on the restaurant business. But to us this service is suitable for any kind of business. This service has no hidden fees and is free with no time limit.
- Follow this link and click Start right away. If you are viewing this article on a computer, it is recommended that you hold your cell phone and scan this qr code. It’s better if you continue reading the instructions on your computer and go step by step on your phone;
2. You will be taken to the CONTROL PANEL DEMO MODE. To create your own control panel, click START USING. Take the I AM NOT A ROBOT test.
3. You have received a unique control panel. The maps.menu system has no login and password. In fact, the login and password are encoded in the link. You will need many, many, very many of these control panels. So you don’t get confused, I recommend you create an Excel spreadsheet or use Google spreadsheets. You will create a very simple spreadsheet. In column “A” you will write a comment on the qr code. In column “B” you will save a link to the control panel. In column “C” you will link to the web application. In column “D” you will be the identifier. I recommend adding a line break for the whole table;
4. Write in column “B” the link to this control panel. The link in the format https://dash.maps.menu?invitationId=xxxxx...xxxx is in the address bar of your browser. Copy it. Write it down in column “B”.
5. Next, copy the link to the web application. To do this, click the link at the bottom of the page in the control panel. The link will go to the clipboard. Next, open Google tables again and paste that link into the “C” column.
6. Now click the qr icon at the top of the page. Take a screenshot of this qr for this web application. This is your first free qr. In the future, already at your partner’s point of sale, you will link this control panel to your Google place ID.
7. Now close this control panel and repeat this procedure three more times. We will prepare to communicate with the four partners. To do this, you must have links to the four control panels in your table. And you should have four screenshots with qr codes in your photo gallery.
In the future I recommend making at least 50 qr codes. At first, these blanks will allow you to work for one week. The more blanks you make, the more effective your sales will be.
Now you have the qr codes in the photo gallery and in the next step we will print them. But before that we have a little bit of design work to do.
STEP 2: CREATE QR CODE STICKERS
To create qr codes you will need any online photo editor or phone application. Among the many suitable options Enlight Photofox will be used as an example.
You can download this template to your gallery to edit it.
- Install and open Enlight Photofox;
- Ignore the offer of the paid version. To do this, simply click close the window;
- Click the [+] button and add a template from the photo gallery;
4. Now press [+] Image to add a qr code from your phone’s gallery. Resize the qr code and move the qr code to the desired location;
5. Next, click on the preview template and hold for 2 seconds, then move it to the qr code preview. When you release it, the word CONNECT will appear. Now the template and the first qr code become one picture;
6. Repeat this procedure with the other three qr codes. Click the export icon, then select the png format and click EXPORT again.
You can print this qr code sheet on sticky paper;
You can print this sheet of qr codes on plain paper and install it in a 9*13 photo holder;
You can cut and laminate the qr codes;
If you have a hand tool, you can make qr codes with a wooden stand.
Now you have free qr codes in your hands. But as my practice has shown, not all of your tomorrow will remember what they need to do with this qr. So before you go out to negotiate, you will need a memo for your partner. You will make a memo on getting feedback in the next step.
STEP 3: CREATE A MEMO ON USING GOOGLE QR CODE REVIEWS
Three elements are important in the text of the partner memo:
- A description of the partner’s benefit of using Google reviews;
- A script for getting a review;
- Contact information.
Adapt and print this manual. You will give this manual to each partner.

Now you have free qr codes and memos in your hands. It’s time to get out of the house and go to the nearest point marked on Google maps. The first meetings are best held with loyal partners. You can choose a cafe where you already know the staff. Go in, order a cup of coffee, and proceed to the next step.
STEP 4: GET GOOGLE ID AND CONNECT TO FREE QR CODE
This project is based on a special link for Google developers- Google place id.
In this step we will learn how to get the Google ID and associate it with a free qr code:
- When you have selected the next partner to sell a QR code open Google maps on your phone and find that company in Google maps;
- Copy the name or remember it verbatim. We will search for a full match among all Google maps companies around the world;
- Follow the link in place-id . You can see video instructions for this step.
Save the Google ID on the clipboard, just like you did in the video
If the name of the partner is popular, I recommend that you put your city after a comma after the name. It will be easier for you to search among the coincidences all over the world.
This Google page is not adapted to mobile devices. Unfortunately, it is not comfortable to search. If possible, use an Ipad or other tablet for this purpose.
4. Take out and scan any free qr code. In your browser’s address bar, note the last three characters in the link. Open your table in which you recorded the data of free qr codes. In column “D”, insert and save the Google ID. Find the corresponding control panel. Follow the link to the control panel.
5. At the top, locate the STAR icon and open the tab. Then click + REVIEWS;
6. Set the identifier. Save the changes in the control panel. To do this, click the orange button;
7. Save the changes on the management server. To do this, click on the blue button;
8. Scan your qr code again. If you have done everything correctly, you will see a Google tab with the name of the affiliate. You will be prompted to leave a review;
9. Go back to the table. Fill the current row with, for example, orange. Make an entry in column “A”. Specify the company name and other entries;
Please note! You do not need to make any other entries in this control panel. If you add a name or logo, the link to the review will not be direct, but will open a landing page for that company. Now that you’ve linked a Google ID and a free qr code you can start selling. The hardest part and the most interesting part is ahead.
